Sinking Hearts EP (CW011)
This debut EP by this all-female post-punk outfit from Vancouver
has been creating some waves here locally and are extending beyond. The
Organ create very tender and isolationist pop songs that will
are catchy as well as craftily arranged. Smiths-like guitar over
a rhythm section that could be lifted from early New Order or Young
Marble Giants. I think of earlier Throwing Muses but the songs
stand out definately on their own. Katie Sketch delivers a very strong
vocal performance throught-out this 6 song offering. Check out their current
