Global Symphonic is proud to take part in the following releases:
We will be releasing a CD towards the end of this year/early 2002 of Frog Eyes, which contains members of Blue Pine whose s/t album on Global Symphonic has received rave reviews abroad. The sound is along the same lines of the first Blue Pine CD with more of a darker, cabaret feel akin to The Birthday Party/Nick Cave and Crime And The City Solution.
We are also releasing in a joint affort with Ache Records and Bloodstone Press "Portraits 99-01: photography of Chris Frey". This will be a beautiful full colour photo book from local photographer Chris Frey (who plays in the band Radio Berlin). Lots of documentary style and portrait photos of people in the Vancouver "scene" and beyond. Comes with an introductory essay by Brady Cranfield. This will be available within the next couple of weeks.Both releases will have more information in the releases section in the times to come. Until then keep your eyes out on the site for the release of Ghost Orchids, out within the next couple of weeks.

Ghost Orchids will be touring up the west coast in November with Vancouver's Radio Berlin (Jack of A Luna Red's other band). Dates can be found in the tour section. Ghost Orchid's "Architecture" EP to be out later this month. We will keep you posted.
